A Conference of Galactic Delights

A Conference of Galactic Delights

A Conference of Galactic Delights is a collaborative installation exploring communication amongst objects and between objects and humans. Over a period of two months, objects were solicited through anonymous donation. The objects were then arranged over a large vertical surface covered with pegboard. The arrangement was a gradual, additive process of attunement to resonance and dissonance between objects, adjacencies dictated not through pre-defined formal categories but through careful listening to the conversations of the “inanimate.”
